VI. Make a test on your temperament

This is a short test on your temperament. Probably it will help you understand yourself better.

Question 1. If you are suggested a post of a company director, what will you do?

Answer options:

A. I'll receive the post at once.

B. I'll first learn what this post is and how it is paid.

C. I'll first calculate how much free time and nerves the work will take.

D. I'll refuse as I don't want to take responsibility for the others.

Question 2. What is of more importance for you: your private life or your career?

Answer options:

A. Career, of course!

B. They're interdependent. I try to keep the balance.

C. Of course, the private life has the priority. Career can wait.

D. I've never thought about it. My fate will decide it for me.

Question 3. What is happiness for you?

Answer options:

A. Achievement of the goals.

B. Balance between my career and private life.

C. The people I love ─ my family and my children.

D. Unifying with God and the Absolute.

Question 4. How do you avoid stress situations?

A. First I get angry, but quickly calm down.

VII. Translate in to English:

1. Під темпераментом варто розуміти індивідуально своєрідні властивості психіки, які визначають динаміку психічної діяльності людини, які однаково виявляються в різноманітній діяльності незалежно від її змісту, цілей, мотивів, залишаються постійними в зрілому віці й у своєму взаємному зв'язку характеризують тип темпераменту.

2. Конкретні прояви типу темпераменту різноманітні. Вони не тільки помітні в зовнішній манері поводження, але немов пронизують усі сторони психіки, істотно виявляючись у пізнавальній діяльності, сфері почуттів, спонуканнях і діях людини, а також у характері розумової роботи, особливостях мови і т.п.

3. У цей час наука має у своєму розпорядженні достатню кількість фактів, щоб дати повну психологічну характеристику всіх типів темпераменту по визначеній стрункій програмі.

4. Темперамент кожного з нас представлений двома або трьома типами темпераменту. Один темперамент є домінуючим, інший ─ другорядним.
