10.3 A specimen report
The brief specimen report which follows describes a genuine attempt to solve a real practical problem. It is presented here as a specimen with which to illustrate some of the topics discussed in section 10.2. It should not be taken to represent an ideal or typical report. In practice, reports are certain to be much longer than this and to contain far more data and analysis of results.
