  1. Object: Form understanding by students of modern ideas about the structure and functioning of gene on the molecular level.

  1. Educational Tasks:

  • to form students’ modern knowledge about the peculiarities of the structure of pro- and eukaryotic cells;

  • to form students’ modern knowledge about the molecular structure of pro- and eukaryotic genes;

  • to demonstrate the differences in structure of pro- and eukaryotic genes;

  • toform students’ knowledge and understanding of the structural and functional differences of gene’s regulatory and coding parts.

  • toform students’ knowledge about gene as the basis of preservation and development of living organisms on the Earth.
