Additional / Further Examination & Treatment Laboratory and Instrumental Studies

You must have some laboratory tests done.

You should — have your blood pressure taken

You have to — take your temperature every day

I advise you to — have your lungs/stomach/joints X-rayed

I recommend you to — have an electrocardiogram/ultrasonic examination made

— have your blood test/urinalysis/feces test/sputum

analysis/gastric juice test made

I'll let you know your diagnosis as soon as we have the tests finished. Laboratory results are not yet back.

Your analysis of blood (feces, sputum) is normal (good, bad). You must have a repeat urinalysis done. You should have X-rays of your chest (stomach) taken.

Here is a request for an X-ray examination. I'll refer you to the laboratory (to the X-ray room, to the functional diagnostics room, for physiotherapy treatment, for exercise therapy).

Consulting Specialists

That is not in my field. I'll refer you to a specialist (oncologist, dermatologist, surgeon). Have you consulted a neuropathologist (an ophthalmologist, a traumatologist)? You should consult an internist (an infectious diseases specialist, a dermatologist, an ophthalmologist, an otolaryngologist, a dental surgeon, a neurologist). He receives patients every day. His consulting room is No 23.

Suggesting Hospitalization

You should be hospitalised. It is necessary for you to undergo full examination/a course of treatment in the hospital/an operation of appendectomy.

The operation is indispensable
