В английском языке различают два вида причастия: причастие I (Participle I или Present Participle) и причастие II ( Participle II или Past Participle).
to give - giving to play - playing
to run - running to die - dying
to play - played to watch - watched
to do - done to go - gone
1. Определение
“Then with a shaking hand, he drew out the cheque and tore it into pieces”. (A. Christie)
“Again there appeared in his eyes that worried look” (A. Christie)
“Some reason unknown was bringing Marrascaud to this meeting-place far above civilization” (A. Christie)
Looking at this pretty girl, I couldn’t but admire her.
When read, the book was returned to the library immediately.
Leaving the room, she left the key inside.
Leaving the room hurriedly, she left the key inside.
Fully absorbed in his thoughts, he didn’t noticed anybody.
