2. Прочитайте, переведите диалог и скажите, соблюдаются ли моральные нормы деловой этики:

Mr. Blake: This way, Mr Kuznetzov. Make yourself comfortable. Tea or coffee?

Mr. Kuznetzov: No, thank you. I'd like to get down to business right away. We are interested in buying your latest model of equipment, Mr Blake.

Mr. Blake: That's nice to hear.

Mr. Kuznetzov: We'd like to clear up several points first. Your prices are too high, I'm afraid. Can you reduce them?

Mr. Blake: I don't think we can. Our equipment is in great demand. We've sold the equipment at these prices to many customers.

Mr. Kuznetzov: We know that the world prices have recently gone up. But still your prices are too high.

Mr. Blake: Well, Mr Kuznetzov, we'll think it over and see what we can do.

Mr. Kuznetzov: Thank you, Mr Blake. We've done business with you for more than 6 years and I hope you'll meet our request.

Mr. Blake: I know you are going to place a very big order. Will a two per cent discount off the price be acceptable?

Mr. Kuznetzov: That's just what we were going to ask you about.

Mr. Blake: Settled.

3. Прочитайте диалог в парах. Обсудите, все ли высказывания соответствуют правилам этикета:

Bolshakov: Good afternoon, Irina Petrovna.

Zotnikova: Good afternoon, Nikolai Ivanovich.

Bolshakov: How is your husband? How are your children?

Zotnikova: We have little time. Let's get down to business.

Bolshakov: I'd like to discuss prices, terms of delivery, terms of shipment and other business matters.

Zotnikova: Here is our draft contract. We hope our terms and conditions will be all right.

Bolshakov: Your new proposal is really very attractive. But we'd like you to speed up the delivery and change the terms. I'm afraid, your terms of delivery don't suit us.

Zotnikova: I can't promise you anything. I don't think we can reduce the delivery period.

Bolshakov: What a pitty. We need the equipment in a month.

Zotnikova: You should wait.
