Swingarm

Swingarm Installation

○•Place the collar [A] on the stopper [B] inside the frame [C].

•Insert the pivot shaft into the frame from the right side. Tighten the pivot shaft so that the clearance [D] between

•the collar and the frame come to zero mm. Tighten:

Torque - Swingarm Pivot Shaft Nut: 108 N·m (11 kgf·m, 80

• ft·lb)

Tighten the pivot locknut, using the socket wrench.

Special Tool - Swingarm Pivot Nut Wrench: 57001–1541

Torque - Swingarm Pivot Shaft Locknut: 98 N·m (10 kgf·m,

• 72 ft·lb)

Install the removed parts (see appropriate chapters).

Remove:

Swingarm

Collar [A]

Grease Seals [B]

Sleeve [C]

Circlip (right side) [D]

•Remove the ball bearing and needle bearings.
