(1) Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels within the SPM No 2 safety zone of 1500 metres.
(2) Notice of ETA: Vessels must send their ETA to Maersk Oil Oatar AS (MOO) and copy to AI Shaheen Terminal 7 days, 5 days, 72h, 48h and 24h in advance. Should the ETA deviate more than 3h from the last forwarded ETA, an updated ETA shall be forwarded to MOO and the AI Shaheen Terminal.
(3) Vessels should contact the FSO Knock Nevis on VHF Ch 69 when within range. The FSO will advise the VHF working channel.
(4) The Mooring Master boards in position 26°33'·00N52°04'·00E.
(5) The AI Shaheen Terminal pilot station/anchorage is located at 26°33'·00N 52°04'·00E(approx 6 n miles off the terminal).
