PROCEDURE:
(1) Notice of ETA: Vessels nominated to load at Sea Eagle Terminal are required to report their ETA to Sea Eagle and Shipping and Export Department as follows:
(a) 7 days before ETA, or upon clearing last port if there is less than 7 days normal steaming time before ETA
(b) 72h before ETA
(c) 48h before ETA
(d) 24h before ETA
(e) At any other timers) between the notices as per (b), (c) and (d) when the ETA is to be revised by more than 12h from that most recemly notified, or after notice
(d) when the ETA is to be revised by more than 30 min
(2) Vessels should proceed to Forcados to board the pilot.
(3) Vessels must call Forcados Terminal on VHF Ch 08 when in range and send the ETA at the position designated by the pilots.
(4) Pilot boards in position 5°12'·00N5°08'·00E(3 n miles NW of the Forcados crude oil loading buoy).
(5) Vessels must call Sea Eagle Control on VHF Ch 10 when within range of the field and again when arriving at the EA Reld Exclusion (5000m) and Safety (500m) Zones to request permission to enter.
NOTE:
Sea Eagle Terminal has an onboard UHF system of hand held radios for internal communication. Vessels will be provided with two handsets on adedicated channel as a back up to the VHF system.
