(2)Notice of ETA: Vessels should advise ETA 24h in advance (48h in advance for vessels carrying dangerous cargo).

(3)Vessels must contact the Hr Mr by telephone or VHF Ch 16 before entering port.

(4)Pilot boards 1nmile NE of Punta Penna Lighthouse.

(1)Pilotage Is compulsory for vessels over 500 GT.

(2)Vessels should send request for pilots 2h before scheduled arrival.

(3)Restrictions concerning deep draught vessels and/or vessels carrying dangerous cargo, are in force during the night in the Malamocco to Marghera channel.

(4)Vessels bound for Venezia usually enter through Lido entrance and vessels bound for Porto Marghera usually enter through the Malamocco entrance.

(5)Pilot boards In the following positions:

(a)Near the Porto di Lido Fairway Lt Bn (45°23'·90N12°28'·80E)(2 nmiles SE of the breakwaters)

(b)Near the Porto di Malamocco Fairway Lt Bn (45°19'·48N12°23'·05E)(2 n miles ESE of the breakwaters)
