PROCEDURE:

(1) Pilotage Is compulsory.

(2) Notice of ETA: Vessels should send initial ETA to the CNR Offshore Representative on departure from previous port (or immediately on departure if port is less than 72h from the terminal), and send updated ETA 72h, 48h and 24h prior to arrival.

(3) The first message should contain the following information:

(a) Vessel'sname, callsign and Inmarsat numbers

(b) Cargo requirements

(c) Maximum loading rate

(d) Arrival draught fore and aft

(e) Last port of call

mConfirmation of clean Bill of Health

(g)Any sickness onboard

(h)Distance (in metres) from the bow to lhe loading manifold

(i)LOA

Ol Astatement to the effect that vessel can perform 'closedloading'

(k)Confirmation that vessel is equipped with abow stopper able to receive 76mm chain

(I)Local Agenfs name and details

(4)The GNR Offshore Representative must be advised should the vessel'sETA change:

(a) By 6h or more following the 72h and 48h notice

(b) By 1hor more following the 24h notice

(5)Berthing is available 0600-1500 LT. Vessels arriving after 1500 LT will be berthed the following day. Unberthing is available H24.

(6)Pilot will advise boarding position after VHF contact has been established w~h the terminal.

(e)Whether cargo ready for discharge

(~ Whether cargo equipment is in order; specific capacity

(g)Draught, fore and aft

(h)LOA

(i)Crew'sgeneral health and whether vaccinated Ol Ports visited in the two weeks balore arrival

(2) Vessels should maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 16 when approaching Ra's al Ard from seaward. Vessels at anchor awaiting berthing instructions should listen out between 0400-0600 0800-1100 1600-1800.
