The functions of Participles:
- The Present Participle (обставина, що вказує на одночасність дії з дією присудка):

- The Past Participle(означення по відношенню до іменника):
The faded leaves fell to the ground. – Зів’яле листя впало на землю.
The book taken from the library was very interesting. – Книга, взята в бібліотеці, була цікава.

- The Perfect Participle(позначення причини або передування дії по відношенню до дії, вираженої присудком):
