ADJECTIVES (describing people)[1, p 25]
Adjectives sometimes appear after the verb to be
He is short. She is tall.

Old man, ugly man.
BUT… Sometimes you want to use more than one adjective to describe something (or someone).
What happens if a man is both old AND ugly?

MY FRIEND
Every person needs a friend. Friends are very important in our life. I think you cannot live without friends.. Your true friend is always ready to help you, to support you if you do something wrong and to solve problems together with you. They say that “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. A real friend makes your life happier and more interesting.
My friend’s name is Richard. He is a 17-year-old boy from England who lives in a small apartment in New-Castle with his mother and younger brother . He is a full-time student at University, where he studies IT because he wants to be a programmer. But apart from that, he has a lot of hobbies. He spends most of his spare time taking photos of nature and animals or reading articles on the Internet about the newest technologies.
Richard has short, dark, curly hair and deep green eyes. He is a tall, very well-built teenager because he likes doing sports like swimming, jogging and football. He is a very optimistic person and smiles a lot. It’s always very interesting to talk to Richard because he reads a lot, is always interested in the news and is glad to share new information.
We have very much in common so we quarrel very seldom. In other words, our friendship is wonderful and I am proud of such a perfect friend as Richard! I am sure we shall be friends forever.
