Are you here in London, on vocation or on business?
It’s a kind of a business trip.
What department are you in charge of?
Well, I’m in charge of the Advertising department of the British branch of a big multinational corporation.
What does your firm produce?
It produces a lot of equipment. We make all kinds of marine electronic equipment, TV sets, computers and so on.
In what countries does this corporation maintain its plants?
We have branches in France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Spain.
Has your company a big staff?
I’m not sure I know the exact number. About six thousand employees in all the branches, I think.
What are your future plans?
We are going to open a few more offices in Europe, expand our manufacturing network abroad and introduce some new, up-to-date models.
Where are your markets?
We sell our equipment to many Western countries. It’s up to world standards and is in great demand on the world market.
