The Voice

There are two voices in English: the active voice and the passive voice. lf the subject is the doer of the action, the verb is in the active voice:

She speaks German.

1always repeat the words a/oud.

lfthe subject is the receiver ofthe action, the verb is in the passivevoice:

The Formation of the Passive Voice

The passive is formed byusing the propertense oftheverb to Ье + Participle 11. The Present Perfect Continuous, the Past Perfect Continuous, the Future Continuous are not used in the passive.
