Предисловие
Данные методические рекомендации разработаны для факультативного курса по дисциплине «Иностранный язык (английский)» и предназначены для студентов направлений подготовки бакалавров 100400 «Туризм» (технология и организация туроператорских и турагентских услуг) и 100100 «Сервис» (социально-культурный сервис). Выбор тематики обусловлен тенденциями расширения туристических возможностей в условиях современной мобильности, в соответствии с которыми возрастает потребность в квалифицированных сотрудниках в выше названных сферах.
Цель методических рекомендаций – развитие и совершенствование языковой, общепрофессиональной, социальной (в том числе межкультурной) компетентностей будущих специалистов для получения конкурентного преимущества на рынке труда и соответствия возрастающим требованиям потребителей к качеству предоставляемых услуг.
Структура методических рекомендаций разнообразна и предоставляет преподавателю (во время аудиторной работы) и студенту (в качестве самостоятельной работы) возможность вариативно подходить к выбору необходимого раздела.
Разделы «VOCABULARY» и «IDIOMS» активизируют лексические единицы в рамках изучаемой тематики.
Разделы «USE OF ENGLISH» ориентированы на повторение приемов словообразования.
Разделы «GRAMMAR» включены для повторения некоторых правил грамматики.
Разделы «READING» развивают умения просмотрового, поискового и изучающего видов чтения.
Разделы «TRANSLATION» позволяют отрабатывать основные переводческие технологии и приемы.
Разделы «SPEAKING» формируют коммуникативную компетентность будущих специалистов.
Основы туристического этикета, как правило, интересны всем любителям путешествий, поэтому данные методические рекомендации могут быть использованы в разноплановых аудиториях в качестве дополнительного материала к основному курсу!
