4.2. What is your opinion on the following? The Traits of an Effective Leader

The six most important words: "I admit I made a mistake."

The five most important words: "You did a good job."

The four most important words: "What is your opinion?"

The three most important words: "If you please."

The two most important words: "Thank you,"

The one most important word: "We"

The least most important word: "I"

4.3. The respondents to the Industrial Society Survey were asked to rank the importance of 35 factors in leader behaviour. The top twenty factors are enumerated below. If you don’t agree with that order then suggest your own and motivate it.

4.4. Is your future job the right job for you? Find out by doing the quiz. What is your score? What type of personality are you? Work in pairs. Tick the statements your partner agrees with.

4.5. Now add up (your ticks and check your scores. Three or

four ticks in any category indicates personality characteristics you should take account of when choosing a job.
