3. Translate into English.

   1. Джулия уже несколько раз слышала, как упоминали имя Эвис Крайтон. Она знала, что шли разговоры о том, что эта третьеразрядная актриса, возможно, получит роль в пьесе, которую они собирались поставить. Театр был ее единственным прибежищем. Она чувствовала облегчение, когда пора было отправляться туда. Даже просто находиться в театре служило ей успокоением. В обычной жизни ей просто приходилось заглушать страсть, подавлять свою боль, но на сцене она давала себе волю. Она никогда раньше до такой степени не выражала себя в роли.

4. Хотя Майкл сам, возможно, и не был хорошим актером, но он мог отличить хорошую игру от плохой. Поэтому он сразу увидел, что Джулия играет чертовски плохо, что она утрирует и переигрывает. Ее игра была просто бездарна (она никуда не годилась).

Майкл винил себя во всем. Джулии надо отдохнуть. Ему бы давно следовало настоять, чтобы она взяла отпуск. Он сказал, что они возобновят какую-нибудь пьесу. Он даже готов был понести убытки. Ее мать и тетушка вели скучную, однообразную жизнь, и приезд Джулии был бы для них большой радостью(доставил бы им удовольствие). А Джулии это позволит на время совершенно оторваться от прежней жизни, вновь обрести спокойствие.

К своему великому изумлению Джулия обнаружила, что для них ее известность не была достоинством, она скорее их смущала. Они даже не предложили ей с ними наносить визиты. А когда они сказали, что ей лучше не упоминать, что она актриса, Джулия была просто поражена. Но чувство юмора восторжествовало, и она чуть не расхохоталась.

Они носились с ней не потому, что она была великая актриса, а потому что ей нездоровилось и она нуждалась в отдыхе.
