People and their appearances

Meeting people for the first time we always make a judgment based on their appearances though the proverb tells us not to make such a mistake. Appearances are really deceptive; it's like a wrap of a sweet. I believe that everyone at least once in his/her life unwrapped a sweet in a bright paper but instead of a chocolate sweet found there just caramel. Or vice versa sometimes a really tasty candy is hidden under very unattractive wrapping paper. The same I can say about people.

Most people in Mediterranean countries such as Italy, Spain and Greece are rather short. They have usually got black or dark brown wavy hair, brown eyes and light brown skin and people from countries such as Denmark, Norway and Sweden are usually tall. They have fair hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion.

People from central Africa have got black curly hair and very dark skin. They have also got dark brown eyes, full lips and a wide, flattish nose. People from Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Libya have usually got dark hair and dark brown eyes. In my opinion character does not depend on appearance. So, I advice everybody not to judge people by their appearance.

“Training be a mother in law”

Through out the centuries books had an enormous influence on the minds and hearts of people. Books bind together ages, personalities. The book is the surest way to bring nations together. It helps people achieve understanding, trust, cooperation and friendship

Thanks to books we able to express our thoughts and feelings more exactly. We can talk to people who lived in different countries and ages. Through reading books we hear their voices, thoughts and feelings. Some people developed much time to reading books and reading becomes their free time occupation, their passion. They teach the readers to be truthful, friendly, honest decisive, conscientious, frank, firm, fair and serious.

The book is faithful and understanding friend. It can be put aside and taken up again at any moment. We can distinguish books between three classes of them.

Firstly, books on different branches of knowledge, works by brilliant minds of mankind. Secondly, textbooks, reference books and numerous dictionaries. And at last, books of all kinds and genres to read at leisure.

Classics should be taken a little at a time..As an old saying goes, man cannot live on bread alone. Books are the source of knowledge and the means of self — perfection.

Women generally live about six years longer than men. Evidence suggests that boys are the weaker sex at birth, which means that more die in infancy. Men also have a greater risk of heart disease than women, and they have heart attacks earlier in life. Men smoke and drink more than women, and their behavior is generally more aggressive, particularly when driving, so they are more likely to die in accidents.

Also, men are more often in dangerous occupations, such as construction works. Historically, women died in childbirth and men in wars. So nuns and philosophers often lived to great ages. Now childbearing is less risky and there are fewer wars. The country with the highest life expectancy is Japan-84 years for women and 77 for men.

Smoking is a major problem among youth in Kazakhstan. Schooling is the major activity of most children between the ages of 7 and 17 years and school is the place where most of them socialize outside their home environment for the first time. A school is the place where much knowledge is obtained, attitudes are formed and sometimes habits are chosen. Studies have demonstrated that the secondary school age is a critical period in the formation of the smoking habit.
