PROCEDURE:
(1)Pilotage Is compulsory from Macapa (Fazendinha) to Porto Trombetas. Pilotage for North Bar is at the Master'sdiscretion. For details see RIO AMAZONAS.
(2)Notice of ETA: Vessels should send ETA to ARENS LANGEN Macapa, 72h prior to arrival at Amazonas No 1Lt F (1 °34'·OON49°01'·50W).
(3)Vessels should also send ETA at Porto Trombetas to the MRN Port Manager.
(4)When passing Macapa, vessels must contact ARENS LANGEN or Macapa Radio on VHF Ch 16 to obtain full instructions.
(5)When leaving Fazendinha, vessels must advise ARENS LANGEN and DOCENAVE Trombetas their ETA at Trombetas River mouth.
