(1) Vessels of over 500 GT are required 10 participale in lhe Manzanillo VTS.

(2) Notice of ETA: Vessels should send ETA 24h in advance 10 Manzanillo VTS (or when departing last port if less than 24h) and provide the following information:

(a) Vessel'sname, call sign, nationality, registry, flag, IMO number and vessel type

(b) Time (LT)

(c) PosiUon (latitude, longitude)

(d) Course

(e) Speed

(I) Last 10 ports of call

(g) ETA at pilot station

(h) Draught fore/aft, length, breadth and freeboard in metres

(i) Description of cargo and pollutants or dangerous cargo carried

m Any deficiencies in charts, publications, vessels navigational aids, equipment or machinery, communication system, GMDSS and number of crew

(k) Weather conditions

(3) Vessels must contact Manzanillo VTS on VHF Ch 13 when 20 nmiles from the sea buoy and provide the following information:

(a) Vessel'sname and call sign

(b) Vessel'sposition (latitude and longitude)

(c) ETA at the sea buoy

(4) Vessels must contact Manzanillo VTS on VHF Ch 17 at the entrance to the TSS and report their posiUon.

(5) Vessels must contact Manzanillo VTS on VHF Ch 17 when anchored and provide the following information:

(a) Vessel'sname and call sign

(b) Vessel'sposition (latitude and longitude)

(c) Time of anchoring

(6) Vessels must monitor VHF Ch 16 continuously whilst in port.

(7) Vessels exiting the area must advise Manzanillo VTS on VHF Ch 17 as follows:

(a) When the pilot is away

(b) Exiting the TSS area, when 3·5n miles from the sea buoy providing vessel's name, call sign, next port of call and ETA

(8) Vessels equipped with AIS must ensure the system is operational at all times.

PROCEDURE:

(1) Pilotage is compulsory and is available 0800-1700 LT but can be arranged HN if required.

(2) Notice of ETA: Vessels should send ETA 24h in advance through the agent.

(3) Pilot boards in position 23°10'·13N106°25'·45W(about 0·5nmiles S of Isla Creston Lt).
