PROCEDURE:

(1) Pilotage Is compulsory for all export tankers within the marine terminal area.

(2) Notice of ETA: Vessels should advise ETA at the start of the sea passage enroute to the terminal, and confirm 72h, 48h and 24h prior to arrival.

(3) Additional ETA notices should be advised if ETA from original notice varies by 6h or more.

(4) Vessels should contact the terminal on arrival for berthing and anchoring instructions.

(5) Pilot boards in the anchorage area, approximately 4 n miles WNW of the terminal.

PROCEDURE:

(1)Pilotage Is compulsory lor lifting vessels. Mooring is available HJ, unmooring H24.

(2)Notice of ETA: Vessels should send ETA message 72h, 48h and 24h in advance

and give notice of any change of ETA when a change of more than 2h occurs. The 72h message should be sent by lax or e-mail to tIhe Operators, stating the information required in the Terminal Regulations handbook.

(3)Initial radio communication between vessels and the Operators should be via Poin1e Noire CRS (see ALRS Voll(l}).

(4)Vessels should maintain a continuous listening watch on 2182 kHz AT and VHF Ch

12 when not less than 12h from the terminal. Watch should be maintained whilst the vessel is at the anchorage awaiting berthing.

(5)A restricted area exists where vessels are prohibited from navigating unless the Mooring Master is on board. The area is bounded by the following positions:

(a)4'25'·00S11 '03'·00E

(b)4'25'·00S11'09'·00E

(c)4'31'·00S11'09'·00E

(d)4'31'·00S11'03'·00E

(6)Mooring Master boards (weather permining) 4n miles Nof the FPSO, in position 4'24'·OOS11'01' ·OOE.

(5)When at anchorage, communication between the export tanker and the terminal shall take place on VHF Ch 16 or a mutually agreed working channel. Should the VHF equipment not be compatible, suitable equipment will be made available by the Mooring Master.

(6)Mooring Master boards in the following positions:

(a)2·5n miles NW of FSO Kalamu

(b)At the anchorage, a circle of radius 0·5n miles centred on position 5°56'·60S 12°07'·00E

REGULATIONS:

PILOTAGE:

(1)All vessels calling at Croatian harbours should give 24h notice of ETA through agent or any Croatian CRS.

(2)Pilotage Is compulsory for all vessels over 500 GT and for all vessels carrying dangerous chemical or combustible substances whilst proceeding between Croatian ports and whilst within Croatian coastal waters exept for Croatian naval vessels, Croatian sailing vessels and dredgers, Croatian passenger vessels and ferries (certain vessels under 500 GT may be subject to pilotage should the Hr Mr'sOffice consider this necessary).

(3)Pilotage procedures are co-ordinated by the harbour authorities, maritime agency and Trade Association. The harbour authorities are available H24 on VHF Ch 09 and

the Pilotage Associations on VHF Ch 12.

(4)Coastal Pilotage Is compulsory for all vessels canrying dangerous liquid chemicals or bulk flammable liquid gas. Vessels bound for ports open to inlemational traffic should use the services of Coastal Pilots.

(5)Coastal Pilotage should be requested 6h in advance.
