0 A sense of humour (AmE humor), an ability to see both the funny side of life, is

1 considered essential by most British and American people. Everyone needs for

2 to be able to laugh at themselves sometimes, and to recognize that the same

3 situation they are in may look funny already to others. If they can’t people will

4 say they have no sense of humour, which is a serious criticism forever. The

5 British sense of humour is varied and what one British person finds out very

12 people from Poland were not very intelligent. These type jokes are usually

13 insulting and offensive to a particular race or for group of people. Similar jokes

14 are still told about some blonds because they are believed not to be very

15 intelligent and about lawyers as they are thought not to have bad characters
