  • Use of the Infinitive (with to)

  • Infinitive + to

  • I want to go to the party.

  • I need to buy some clothes.

  • Use to + the Infinitive to say why you do something.

  1. I came to this school to learn English. Not for learn English.

  1. Use to + the Infinitive after:

  2. - some verbs (want, need, would like, etc.) I’d like to find a new car.

  3. - adjectives

  4. It isn’t easy to find a job. Nice to meet you.

  5. The negative infinitive is not to + verb.

  6. Try not to be late tomorrow.

  • The infinitive is a verbal form (a non-finite verb form) which consists of the base form of the verb with the particle "to": to do; to go; to play; to take; to break; to find.

  • The finite verb forms express the time of the action in the present, past, or future.

  1. For example: He works in a bank. He worked yesterday. He will work tomorrow.

  24. A lot of people today use internet for their work. Almost all of the people have an internet service in their home and many people use internet through the mobile phone too. From the Internet we can find a lot of information, meet with old friends through the chat room, sharing information through various discussion forums, to share images or videos and other things to people all over the world.

  25. In the world today many people use facebook, twitter, yahoo messenger, etc. to chatting with our friend in everywhere. They belevied that communicating with this way is cheaper than communicating by telephone.

  26. If we have a broadband connection, we connect to the Internet at once. If not, we have to set up and connect to our dial-up service. Finally, if we want to find some information in the Internet, we are to type an address of this data in the browser we use or simply use the existing search-programs such as the google search program, rambler search program, yandex search program or yahoo search program. They are very simple and popular networks of sites.

  27. Anyway, Internet does have a wide range of functions but also have a variety of bad things. so, use the Internet as needed and still keep your privacy to obey the ethics of Internet use. It is becoming popular day by day. We can get some news from the Internet, because there are many informational servers in the web.
