LEARNING ENGLISH

Everybody knows his own language, but it is useful to know foreign languages. English is the International language and is one of the most popular and most spoken in the technology world. We need to know English language in order to study any science subject or any computer language, to communicate effectively too many developed countries. English is very much important in our life, because it is the means of communication.

If you cannot speak the language of a place, it will be very difficult to communicate with the people. It is the major international language for communication in such areas as science, technology, business and mass entertainment.

English is the language of the world. Over 350 million people speak it as a mother tongue. The native speakers of English live in Great Britain, the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand. English is one of the official languages in the Irish Republic, Canada, the South African Republic. It is the language of the literature, education, modern music, international tourism. As long as you educate yourself, you will come across many new things. There is no end for learning.

CONSOLIDATION.

Put the verbs into the correct form (future I simple). Use will.

Jim asked a fortune teller about his future. Here is what she told him:

SHOULD/ SHOULDN’T + INFINITIVE.[2, p73]

Use should + Infinitive to give somebody advice or to give an opinion.

Eg. You should cut your hear. ( I think it would be good idea.)

We often use should with I think/ I don’t think/ Do you think…

I think the government should do more to improve education.

I don’t think you should work hard.

“Do you think I should apply for this job?” “Yes, I think you should.”
