  1. Word derivation:

1) affixation:

a) prefixation and suffixation;

b) polysemy, synonymy and homonymy of affixes; semi-affixes;

2) conversion.

Match each word or phrase in the first column with the word or phrase in the second so as to produce a phraseological unit. You may use dictionaries. Think of a corresponding Russian proverb or idiom for each English one.
