Pay Attention!

Present Continuous is used in the situations like these:

1. activity in progress at the moment of speaking: I am sitting and writing now. I am writing a letter at the moment. Look! He is sleeping. Listen! Someone is singing. Where’s she? She is having a shower. I am still reading your book. 2. activity in progress around the present, not right now: I am visiting museums this week/month. I am looking for a job. 3. activity in progress for a limited period around the present: I am staying at my uncle’s until the end of the week. I am staying in the Vista Hotel. 4. Future arranged activity: I am coming back next Monday/week. I am leaving for London. Note: Remember the verbs that are not used in Present Continuous: See, hear, smell, taste, know, believe, remember, understand, recognize, believe, love, like, hate, dislike, doubt, imagine, prefer, realize, suppose, want, wish
