Symptoms and syndromes in Urology

Urology

is the field of surgery that focuses on the urinary tracts of males and females, and of the male reproductive system.

Symptoms of urological diseases

Pain

Micturition disorders

Qualitative and quantitative changes of urine

Patological discharges from uretra

Changes of sperma

Localisation of pain

In loin – kidneys

Irradiation of pain to the groin – ureters

Suprapubical – vesical bladder

At the perineum – prostata, seminal vesicles.

Pain in the uretra

Cause: uretritis, passing of stones by uretra (pain connected with the micturition), at the

inflammatory process in the seminal vesicles

(not connected to the micturition).

Suprapubical pain

Cause: interstitial cystitis, tuberculosis of vesical bladder, cystitis after X-Ray therapy, tumor of vesical bladder, prostatitis.

Pain at the perineum

Cause: acute and cronic prostatitis, vesiculutis, prostatic stones, prostatic cancer.

Pain at the external genitalia

Cause: acute epididymitis, acute orchitis, torsion of testicle
