Values – happiness

Values, happiness – happiness, values. What do we consider to be value in our life? That is my topic.

I am not going to improve you my own opinion. No, that is not my goal! I just want to speak with your soul and mind.

Do you agree that our values play an important role in constructing our life? They can motivate our feelings, emotions, desires, our life and dreams. Nowadays there are such people who consider that they are unhappy. Why? May be they didn’t think about values in life?

Once one great woman said: Life – is our happiness; create it, be yourself. Think about it.

Now, I am going to tell you in brief one interesting story about two families. Once lived two families – one was rather rich, another one was poor. Rich family had everything, except –children. Poor family didn’t have enough money to live, but there were many happy children. These two families were neighbors.

The rich family couldn’t understand the reason of happiness of their neighbors, because they were so poor. The rich man once decided to go and ask them about it. When he heard their answer, he became confused. The answer was: “Every day, – said the poor man- we throw a bar of gold to each other. That is why we have fun and happiness”.

- But where is your bar of gold? – Rich man interested.

- That is! – answered another man holding his baby.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am grateful to you all that you have come here, that you do not stay aside watching how these insolent officials are going to demolish our open-air museum, our treasure, the significant part of our national cultural heritage. They say that the museum is in a terrible condition and to renew it a big sum of money must be spent, that it is almost impossible to renew it, they say that the museum has already lost its significance, they say that no one is interested in scenes of peasant life, that it is bygone times. They lie, me dear friends! They say a blatant lie! They assure us that they intend to build more profitable establishment! How do you think what it is?

Of course, they plan to construct here a large recreation centre. But we are not deaf and blind. We all know that this land is going to be sold to some foreign millionaire. Our officials always voted that they would take care of our people, they would share interests and desires of them. But what happens in reality? They take care only of themselves! If someone buys this land, will he leave everything as it is? Definitely not! Our museum contains quite rare exhibits. Without a certain environment they will lose their essence. That leads to the loss of our culture. They destroy museum, they destroy culture, they destroy nation. We, the Ukrainians, the proud nation, must not sit still and do nothing, waiting for better future. We must strive for defense of our culture. We are responsible for it. I beg all of you to stand together and do not let these pseudo advocates of human rights deal in our culture. It is our duty to keep history and culture of our country. Stand together and stay together! Justice has not vanishes, we must believe in it! Thank you for attention.
