At the time the Izhevsk State Medical Institute was founded in 1933 there was only one faculty, the Faculty of General medicine, now a days there are five more: the faculty of pediatrics, the Faculty of stomatology, the Faculty of Fellowship Training, the Faculty of Nursing.

Students can join one of the Students scientific scocietics You may choose Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry or any other available according to your interest and ability.
There are there hostels where students who have come to study from outside Izhevsk can live in 2 or 3-bed rooms. The Academy has facilities for in door and outdoor sports, so if you want you can do fitness, aerobics, volleyball or bodybuilding in two gyms. The thing I like best about the Izhevsk Medical Academy is the study environment.
