Country of nonsense

All people are lying. This is our soviet mentality, to lie – is not to cross a field. Lie is strewed on our heads from everywhere. Especially from TV. I realized it a long time ago, that all the goods which are advertized is harmful, unnecessary and untrue.

Once foolishly buying a vacuum cleaner in one of the retailers I gave them my phone number. "We often have sales, so we will inform you" – they told me. And they were not lying. Occasionally SMS comes at me number with the message: Sale! 50% off!

No, we have not came especially at the sale, but when driving through, we entered and wondered what's so good for half the price we can buy. But each time it turned out that what were selling at half price, were already sold, but still there are discounts for 5 and - what joy! - 7%!

In the third time I had already get that they were making a fools of us.

My seven year old son recently expressed a very interesting idea. Many times I explained to him that various "Rastishka", chips, crackers, coca`s - an abomination and he should not eat them. But TV advertisements did their job and mind of the boy was sussesfully messed, convince the child was not so easy.

And finally, joy. He believed in the falsity of the advertising.

- Dad, you know where I realized that advertising is lying? Here's the TV all the time saying, "Drink Coca-Cola and win." Our players believed, were drinking a Coke and lost.

But I recently traveled to Kyiv by "Hyundai". In the first class. Return. At the train were 8(eight) passengers. Back - 2 (two). However, later it turned out that second passenger was cleaner. She sat away and was peacefully napping, and only when I went in search of trash, she stopped me and hospitably took from my hands a bag with the trash and put it into her empty bag. Then she began napping again. The presence of another living soul, confess, was a pleasure for me. From time to time some people came over the car, among them was drunk and kind old man with pocketbook in hand, watching a movie which could cause them irresistible attraction to the film.

Some think: well, so whyare you travelling in the first class car! And I agree. But this tickets were already bought for me, so I was notcapricious.

So - advertising. This superspeedy train which avarange speed is 108-110 km per hour worked, as provided TV. But instead of advertising films were not showed. And so in that advertisements they repeated many times: in cars "Hyundai" will be Wi-Fi, you can view movies, and in high-end cars you can even eat your lunch.

When I inquired conductors about Wi-Fi, you know that advertising did not lied. Wi and, interestingly, Fi was after - but 15 minutes of the city and 15 minutes to Kyiv. Power!

What about movies she explained that they still have not bought a license. And for lunch, I did not understand nothing, so was eating my sandwich and watching movies in my poketbook. Though remember that earlier for first class passengers were promised lunch for free.

Why should we pay such a money for tickets? Сlear that they are no longer justified, and cars go half-full. We are not above to get a higher speed, because than we need to lay new track. That's why the war was started with the night train to make power. People change these quick turtle. All this resulted in a scandal, some night trains back, but raised the price, and now the trains go something for 2-3 hours longer than ever. Perhaps to this background "Hyundai" look even more attractive.

Honestly admit: going by "Hyundai" was profitable, but only because no one around me was sitting next to, not glazing in my pocketbook and in my sandwich. But I have such a luxury beyond their means. If I can certainly, pull up and buy a second class ticket, but what's the point? For ticket prices will have to add the cost of a taxi there and back, and it is 200 USD.

Can you imagine? Hundreds of kilometers track will engage unless our whole army. Touted but "Hyundai" have brothers in misfortune: two-storey high-speed train "Sorry." Poor is not meet expectations - passengers shun it. Even train which goes on weekends from Kharkov and Donetsk to Mariupol (through when thousands of people go the beach) is filled only at 10%.

And do you remember about cheap flights? Well, not now and not for us. For anyone who wants to fly somewhere is more profitable to fly from Poland, the Czech Republic or Hungary than in Ukraine. And I will not even ask why the price for our high-speed trains and train higher than the price of Rzeszów ticket to Barcelona. A price is - well, just ridiculous 18 euros! Plane from Barcelona to the Canary Islands is 38 euro. Though if thinking ahead, you can find even 15 euros. Instead flights from Lviv to Simferopol is 5000 USD.! Bus to Yalta - about 400.,

And finally finish off our tireless reformer prices in the Canary islands. Price per bed per night in an apartment from where there is a 50 meters to the sea is 9,5 euros! Apartments consist of two bedrooms and a spacious kitchen with all benefits. And Wi-Fi is free and pool are available. At that time this price on the southern Crimean coast offers an old house with amenities and shower outside of the tank.

Prices for food are the same as ours, and at the supermarkets are even lower. Don’t compare with prices in Yalta – not to get blue.

Therefore not surprising that this year's holiday season in Crimea had fallen. Only 30% of holidaymakers willing to share spartan conditions. Others apparently prefers to go elsewhere. And me, a sinner, too.
