Предлагаемое учебное пособие составлено на основе учебной программы курса английского языка для студентов юридических факультетов.

Цель – формирование профессиональной языковой/коммуникативной компетенции обучаемого. Основной упор делается на детальное изучение материала и его последующее использование в актах коммуникации. Особое внимание уделено формированию аналитических навыков, навыков аудирования профильно-ориентированной иноязычной информации, развитию критического мышления.

Представленные материалы и задания отвечают требованиям современного уровня развития методики преподавания иностранных языков в высшей школе.

Сочетание аутентичности, преемственности и коммуникативности делают настоящее учебно-методическое пособие актуальным, познавательным и доступным для всех, кто интересуется вопросами права Великобритании, США и России.
