Bis Sans Frontieres was started just over 30 years ago by doctors in Bangladesh and Nigeria. They wanted to give people in wars fast medical help, And these doctors wanted to tell the world about the terrible things they could see. This is the other part of the philosophy of MGdicins Sans Frontieres - to inform the world.
CiirWeginning i! was a French organisation based in Paris. Now we |0T 85 countries and plan our projects Irom three centres; Brussels, faris and Barcelona, which handles many of our Latin American projects. The organisation Is very decentralised and so needs people with a lot of energy to make it work.
