The facts • Aeroflot is the indisputable leader of civil aircraft of Russia, an actual national carrier. • the General director of airline since April, 10th, 2009 - Vitaly Savelyev. • Aeroflot is based by the government decision on February, 09th, 1923, is one of the oldest airlines of the world and one of the most recognized Russian brands. • Aeroflot in 1989 the first of the Russian airlines has entered the International association of air transport (IATA). • Aeroflot is based at airport "Sheremetyevo". In the winter schedule 2011-2012 - own regular flights in 109 points 53 of the countries (across Russia — 29 points). Aeroflot constantly increases and improves the park of aircrafts, and also has constructed own modern aeroport terminal in the Sheremetyevo. Terminal D which has become operational in the end of 2009, has throughput of 12 million passengers in a year and is intended for service of flights of Aeroflot, and also flights of its partners in alliance SkyTeam. o Aeroflot has the Control center largest in the Eastern Europe of flights. In March, 2011 has opened own Aviation school with the planned volume of release of 160 pilots (80 crews) a year. A professional training on 120 aviation specialities is provided. Our fleet The company fleet is one of most cовременных, young and fast-growing in Europe. Aeroflot has on balance of 109 air liners which most part is made by family A320 planes, А330 and B767. In 2007 Aeroflot has signed large-scale contracts for acquisition 22 дальнемагистральных planes Boeing B787 Dreamliner with the beginning of deliveries since 2016 and 22 liners Airbus A350 - since 2018. From the end of 2008 Aeroflot accepts in structure of the fleet new дальнемагистральные liners Airbus A330 which have already considerably expanded company possibilities on distant routes, and also have allowed to enter qualitatively new level of service. In 2011 contracts with corporation Boeing about the order of 16 planes B777-300ER and B777-200ER are signed. Since June, 2011 Aeroflot receives the Russian regional planes of new generation Sukhoi SuperJet-100 (has the firm order for 30 aircrafts SSJ-100, intend to buy in addition 10 more). In total, during the period till 2020 for Group "Aeroflot" it is planned to get 126 modern aircrafts of the Russian manufacture.
Our alliance and our partners In April, 2006 Aeroflot became full member SkyTeam, the second-large aviation alliance in the world. Since 2011 enters also into cargo structure of an alliance – SkyTeam Cargo. Through extensive joint routing network SkyTeam gives the chance to the clients to make flights in 926 points 173 of the countries of the world. In frameworks a code-sheringovyh of agreements Aeroflot cooperates with 28 foreign and Russian airlines. Group "Aeroflot" includes a number of affiliated companies (the largest — airline "Донавиа" is based in Rostov-on-Don). Now the key project for Open Society "Aeroflot" is consolidation transferred to it under the decision of the government of six regional airlines — aviation actives ГК of "Rostehnologii".

In 2011 has confirmed this certificate already in the fourth time. In 2009 has passed audit of operational safety of land service ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations). In 2010 has confirmed conformity of system of quality management to requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008.
New Terminal D of airport "Sheremetyevo" Terminal D has earned on November, 15th, 2009. Having throughput of 12 million passengers in a year, it is intended for service of flights of Aeroflot, and also flights of its partners in alliance SkyTeam. Urged to become the high-grade international hub first in Russia leaning against base airline and a global alliance. To services of passengers — 143 racks of registration, in т. ч. 24 racks of self-registration (CUSS), 30 racks of registration of transfer passengers and oversized luggage. Aeroflot and SkyTeam three own business by halls of "Classic", "Jazz" and "Blues" in zones of the international and internal departures with places for comfortable rest and work have. For the purpose of acceleration of process of processing of luggage and safety increase application of system of recognition of luggage with use of radio-frequency labels (Radio Frequency Identification) which will allow to reduce time of processing of luggage on the average to 90 % is provided.
Relations with investors The founder - the Government of the Russian Federation - owns 51 % of actions of Open Society "Aeroflot". 49 % belong legal and to physical persons, including employees of the company. In 1993 Aeroflot has been registered as Open Joint-stock company. Open Society actions «Aeroflot — the Russian airlines» bargain at the Moscow stock exchange (MICEX) under symbol AFLT. The net profit of the Group of companies "Aeroflot" following the results of the first half of the year 2011 under the international standards of the financial reporting (МСФО) has made 376,8 mln. dollars of the USA that in 21,5 times exceeds result of the similar period of 2010.

Коммерческая загрузка составила 63,2% (+7,3 п.п.). Объем перевозок Группы компаний «Аэрофлот» в 2010 г. превысил 14 млн. пассажиров.
Аэрофлот постоянно увеличивает и совершенствует свой парк воздушных судов, а также построил собственный современный аэропортовый терминал в Шереметьево. Терминал D, вступивший в строй в конце 2009 года, имеет пропускную способность 12 млн. пассажиров в год и предназначен для обслуживания рейсов Аэрофлота, а также рейсов его партнёров по альянсу SkyTeam.
Аэрофлот располагает крупнейшим в Восточной Европе Центром управления полётами. В марте 2011 года открыл собственную Авиационную школу с запланированным объемом выпуска 160 пилотов (80 экипажей) в год. Предусмотрена подготовка кадров по 120 авиационным специальностям. Создал высокотехнологичный Ситуационный центр, который в случае сбойной или кризисной ситуации позволяет эффективно руководить производственными процессами.

Наш флот
Флот компании является одним из самых cовременных, молодых и быстрорастущих в Европе. Аэрофлот имеет на балансе 109 авиалайнеров, большую часть которых составляют самолеты семейства А320, А330 и B767. В 2007 году Аэрофлот подписал крупные контракты на приобретение 22 дальнемагистральных самолетов Boeing B787 Dreamliner с началом поставок с 2016 года и 22 лайнеров Airbus A350 - с 2018 года.
С конца 2008 года Аэрофлот принимает в состав своего флота новые дальнемагистральные лайнеры Airbus A330, которые уже значительно расширили возможности компании на дальних маршрутах, а также позволили ввести качественно новый уровень сервиса. В 2011 году подписаны договоры с корпорацией Boeing о заказе 16 самолетов B777-300ER и B777-200ER. С июня 2011 года Аэрофлот получает российские региональные самолёты нового поколения Sukhoi SuperJet-100 (имеет твердый заказ на 30 воздушных судов SSJ-100, намерен закупить дополнительно еще 10). В общей сложности, в период до 2020 года для Группы "Аэрофлот" планируется приобрести 126 современных воздушных судов российского производства.
Наш альянс и наши партнеры
В апреле 2006 года Аэрофлот стал полноправным членом SkyTeam, второго по величине авиационного альянса в мире. С 2011 года входит также в грузовую структуру альянса – SkyTeam Cargo. Через обширную совместную маршрутную сеть SkyTeam дает своим клиентам возможность совершать полёты в 926 пунктов 173 стран мира. В рамках код-шеринговых соглашений Аэрофлот сотрудничает с 28 иностранными и российскими авиакомпаниями. Группа "Аэрофлот" включает ряд дочерних компаний (крупнейшая — авиакомпания «Донавиа» базируется в Ростове-на-Дону). В настоящее время ключевым проектом для ОАО «Аэрофлот» является консолидация передаваемых ему по решению правительства шести региональных авиакомпаний — авиационных активов ГК «Ростехнологии».

Безопасность
Аэрофлот соответствует высшим международным стандартам обеспечения безопасности. По итогам аудита операционной безопасности Международной ассоциации воздушного транспорта (IOSA — IATA Operational Safety Audit) первым из российских перевозчиков вошёл в реестр операторов IOSA. В 2011 году подтвердил этот сертификат уже в четвертый раз. В 2009 году прошел аудит эксплуатационной безопасности наземного обслуживания ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations). В 2010 году подтвердил соответствие системы менеджмента качества требованиям международных стандартов ISO 9001:2008.
Новый Терминал d аэропорта «Шереметьево»
Терминал D заработал 15 ноября 2009 года. Имея пропускную способность 12 млн. пассажиров в год, он предназначен для обслуживания рейсов Аэрофлота, а также рейсов его партнёров по альянсу SkyTeam. Призван стать первым в России полноценным международным хабом, опирающимся на базовую авиакомпанию и глобальный альянс. К услугам пассажиров — 143 стойки регистрации, в т. ч. 24 стойки саморегистрации (CUSS), 30 стоек регистрации трансферных пассажиров и негабаритного багажа. Аэрофлот и SkyTeam располагают тремя собственными бизнес залами «Классика» , «Джаз» и «Блюз» в зонах международных и внутренних вылетов с местами для комфортного отдыха и работы. С целью ускорения процесса обработки багажа и повышения безопасности предусмотрено применение системы распознавания багажа с использованием радиочастотных бирок (Radio Frequency Identification), которая позволит сократить время обработки багажа в среднем на 90% .
