Glossary:

punishment (покарання) – something that is done in order to punish someone, or the act of punishing someone;

offender – 1) someone who is guilty of a crime; 2) someone or something that is the cause of something bad;

victim - a person or thing that suffers harm, death, etc., from another or from some adverse (ворожий) act, circumstance, etc

death penalty (смертне покарання) – the legal punishment of death;

thief - a person who steals something from another;

criminal 1) a person charged with and convicted of crime; 2) a person who commits crimes for a living;

divoce - the dissolution (розірвання, ліквідація) of a marriage by judgment (судове рішення, судовий розгляд) of a court or by accepted custom;

to divoce - 1) to separate or be separated by divorce; give or obtain a divorce (to a couple or from one's spouse ([spaυs] чоловік, дружина); 2) to remove or separate, esp completely.
