MUSEUM

The British Museum is a museum in London, founded in 1753. one of the largest libraries in the world: British Library.

The British Museum's includes monuments of primitive and antique culture, Ancient East culture, the richest collection of engravings, pictures, ceramics, coins.

The British Museum library is now named the British national library. It was formed in 1973. It has a copy of every book that is printed in the English language, so that there are more than six million books there. They receive nearly two thousand books and papers daily. The British Museum Library has a very big collection of printed books and manuscripts, both old and new. You can see beautifully illustrated old manuscripts which they keep in glass cases. You can also find there some of the first English books printed by Caxton. Caxton was a printer who lived in the fifteenth century. He made the first printing-press in England. In the reading-room of the British Museum many famous men have read and studied. Charles Dickens, a very popular English writer, spent a lot of time in the British Museum Library.

In no other museum can the visitor see so clearly the history of what it is to be human.

ROUTINE

My usually day in institute always begin at 7 o’clock. I get up and go to the shower. There are always one ore two students because it is very hard to get up so early. Then I go to the washbasin. There I shave and clean my ties. Then I wear my form and go to the dining room. I eat porridge and drink tea. Then all students exactly at 8 o’clock come to the hostel. Our head of course told us about different problems in institute and then we go to our lessons. After them usually it is three of four o’clock I go to consultation. At six o’clock I with my friends go to the dinner. After dinner we usually go to she shop and by food. After it we eat and watching film. Then I do my homework. After it I go sleep.

At weekend I usually sleep a lot. Then I play games, read books. My favorite book is ancient by Sergey Tolmachov at evening I watch films with my nebirhoods and go sleep.

RADIO

TRANSPORT

I would like to tell you about types of transport. Today people travel basically on three types of transport. By plane, by train an by car

Travelling by air is the fastest and the most convenient way, but it is the most expensive too.

Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but it has its advantages. You can see much more interesting places of the country. Modern trains have very comfortable seats. Speed, comfort and safety are the main advantages of trains and planes. Travelling by sea is very popular. It is a slow types of transport. but many people enjoy traveling by ship.

Many people prefer to travel by car. If travelling by car. You needn't reserve tour tickets. You needn't carry heavy suitcases. You can stop wherever you wish, and spend at any place as much time as you like.

As for me, I prefer travelling by air. Because I like to fly. Also it is very fast way of travel. For example flight from ульяновска in моску lasts no more an hour and a half and by train 12 hours

MEALS

I’d like to tell you about Russian Traditional Meals. It goes without saying Russia is a multinational country. But I’ll speak about purely Russian Meals. It seems to me Russian Meals is the healthiest and most delicious. In Russian it’s usual to have meals three times a day. There is breakfast, dinner and supper. In Russia it’s not common to eat much for breakfast. A usual breakfast could include an sirniki or bliny with jam and so on. Also porige is another traditional dish for breakfast in Russia

Dinner consists of several courses. First course is a soup. For example borsch or schi. Also the first course can be okroshka made with traditional Russian drink called Kvas. Kvas is made of bread.

Second course includes meat and garnish. third course is usually tea, juice or compote.

Traditional Meals on supper usual could include an pelmeni or golubtsy.

As for me I like Russians meals and drink

MY FUTURE PROFESSION

When I was a child i always wanted to have interesting job. I thought a lot about it, because many jobs are boring for me. So I decided that I will be a pilot as my father. He works in big air company S7. When I study at school I always watching on him, listen his interesting stores about different countries and cites. So I passed my school exams and entered in this university.

I study a lot because I wanted to be a good pilot as my father. At future I want to work in S7 Company too. It’s very big company. At first all pilot’s who’s ended flight academies or universities begin to retrain to other type of aircraft. Usually at S7 Company it is aircraft A319 or A320. Retrain always start’s abroad. Exactly in USA in Denver. Experienced instructors told you about all aspects of this type of aircraft. Then you pass exam and start to work in aircpmpany.

COMPETITION

When I went to school I wanted to be a strong guy. That’s why I went to different section. The most interesting kind of sport for me was judo. I went to this section when I was ten. I trained five years. Every day I went to the training. We fought every day. But in Thursday we are only run. Five or six kilometers. After it we made a lot of physical exercises. After two years of training I went to the competition. It was a city competition. It was amazing for me. I could saw others school of judo. Before fought we must to went to the doctor. Medical control was very serious .After it we fought.It was difficult for me. My opponents was very strong. Unfortunately I won only two opponents and couldn’t get to the final. It was my last competition because I was very pity after it and didn’t wont to go another competition.

The capital of the UK is London.

There are a lot of rivers in GB, but they are not very long. The Severn is the longest river, while the Thames is the deepest and the most important one.

The mountains, the Atlantic Ocean and the warm waters if Gulf Stream influence the climate of the British Isles. The weather in GB is very changeable. A fine morning can change into a wet afternoon and evening and the wrong side out. The English people say: "Other countries have a climate; in England we have weather." The English also say that they have three variants of weather: when it rains in the morning, when it rains in the afternoon or twhen it rains all day long.

The best time of the year in GB is spring. The two worst months in Britain are January and February. They are cold and unpleasant.

The most unpleasant aspect of English weather is fog and smog. This is extremely bad in big cities especially in London.

FAMILY

A am study in Aviation Institute. It is situated to another city. That’s why my parents see me very seldom. So when I come home they try to spend they time with me. When I come home at winter we celebrate New Year together.

My mother decorates the house. My father set fir-tree in the corner of the room. The presents are usually put under these trees. Then we go to the shop buy a lot of tasty food and drinks.

My parents prepare to this holiday well.

At twelve o’clock in the night we can see the president on TV which addresses all people traditional words of congratulation. At this time we are sitting at the tables to our holiday dinner and enjoy it in a good company. Then my parents give me a present.

After it I with my friends go to street and fun all night.

New Year it’s a fantastic holiday that’s people celebrate with parents and friends.
