The Present Indefinite

1. I usually have breakfast at 8.00. Обычно я завтракаю в 8 часов.

2. After breakfast I go to my office. После завтрака я иду в свое учреждение.

3. He plays chess well. Он хорошо играет в шахматы.

4. She lives in Minsk. Она живет в Минске.

5. You always look very well. Ты всегда очень хорошо выглядишь.

The Present Continuous

1. What are you doing? — I am reading Crime and Punishment. Что ты делаешь? – Я читаю «Преступление и наказание».

2. Do you hear what they are talking about? Вы слышите, о чем они говорят?

3. Someone is knocking at the door. Are you going to answer it? Кто-то стучит в дверь. Ты пойдешь открывать?

The Present Perfect

1. I have just met him. Я только что встретил его.

2. I haven't spoken to him yet. Я еще не разговаривал с ним.

3. I have already had my dinner. Я уже пообедал.

4. I haven't seen him for ages (since childhood, since 1975, since we left school). Я не видел его вечность (с детства, с 1975, с тех пор как мы закончили школу).

The Present Perfect Continuous

1. Her phone has been ring­ing for ten minutes. Why doesn't she answer it? Ее телефон звонит уже 10 минут. Почему она не от­вечает?

2. How long have you been waiting for me? I have been waiting since 9 o'clock. Как долго ты меня ждешь? — Я жду с 9 ча­сов.

3. How long have you been wearing glasses? - For five years. Как давно ты носишь оч­ки? - Пять лет.
