HOBBIES IN ENGLAND
Almost every Englishman with any spare time has a hobby, and it is almost impossible to guess from his profession or appearance his personal interests. It may be stamp collecting or carpentry, or digging up Roman pottery, or simply digging up his own potatoes. Gardening and cultivation of flowers, especially roses, is the most common hobby of all among Englishman.
