Christian Dior — the French company. It is based by the French couturier Christian Dior in 1946.

Christian Dior (1905 — 1957) based the company together with his school friend and the financial partner Marselem Bussak (Marcel Boussac) — the producer of a fabric [2]. The Haute Couture studio open on the elegant Parisian Avenue Montaigne [3]. The first collection of fashions which was presented by Dior in February, 1947, already had big success and was called the American journalists of New Look.

In the mid-fifties in the company over 900 people worked. Christian Dior in April, 1957 appeared on the title page of the Time Magazine magazine.
