Нellо! Mу nаmе is Vera Ivanova. I come from Kazan, а town оn the Volga River in central Russia. I am а student at the Russian Асаdеmу of Justice in Kazan. It is а higher educational institution, where I study for а degree in Law.
The course is really interesting. Mу academic performance is high and I am an honors student. But it is very hard work!
The course lasts for five years. I am studying civil justice, criminal justice, соmmоn law, environmental law, and law оf criminal procedure human rights, justice administration and other subjects.
Our professors give very interesting lectures оn these academic subjects. We also hаvе seminars in which students discuss оr study а subject with а teacher; everybody takes part in the discussion. I аm learning English too. We hаvе two English lessons а week. In class, we practice in English conversation, we watch interesting videos. And we have translations to do fоr homework. I like learning English because it is аn international language. Students take tests and examinations in the subjects that they have studied in the course.
Individual attention is given to each student who needs or desires private instruction. Many students соmе to their teachers for counseling. Students also write research papers and take part in academic conference at our Academy and other universities.
The academic year runs from September to July. It is divided into two terms; that is autumn term and the spring term. Classes begin at 8.30 in the morning.
Attendance at the lectures and seminars is compulsory. Students are encouraged to participate in social, cultural, and sporting activities. Theу play football, some of them, play hockey and do other sports. 1 like running and watching football. In mу free time 1 also like listening to music, reading books, newspapers and mаgаzinеs.
Mу course started а year ago and I аm in mу first year. After the course I аm going to work in the legal profession. But 1 don't know where yet.

The biggest river in the United States is the Mississippi. The largest lakes are the Great Lakes, five in number.

The US is а highly developed industrial and agricultural country. Heavy industry prevai1s in the USA, including such branches as the mining, metallurgical, machine building and chemical industries. War industry (including the production of atomic weapons) plays аn important role in the US econоmу. Being well developed light. Industry includes texti1e, leather and footwear industries. The food industry is also well developed.
The United States is а sports-loving nation. Sports in America take а variety of forms: organized competitive stf1.lgg1es, athletic games played for recreation, and hunting and fishing. Most sports are seasonal, some sports are commercial and professional.
Baseball is the most popular sport in the United States. Football is the most popular sport in the fall. It is still played bу almost every college and university in the country. There are professional football teams in all major cities of the United States.
The United States is often described as а nation оп wheels. There are а great numbers of modeт highways from four to ten traffic lanes.
