  1. Have a look at the map of Murmansk and improvise some dialogues on the following topics:

    1. You are at the railway terminal square and should get to Knipovitch street.

    2. You are in Leningradskaya street and should get to the swimming pool in Karl Marx street.

    3. You are informing a foreign student who has been staying in the Arctica hotel. The student would like to get to Drama theatre.

8. Do the following tasks:

1. Tell a passer-by that you’ve lost your way. Ask him to tell you the way to the Arts Museum. Ask him if it is far and if you can walk there.

2. Tell a passer-by that you should get to the port.Ask him what bus you must take and where the bus stop is.

3. Ask the conductor if you are on the right bus. If not, ask him what bus you must change and at what stop. Pay your fare.

4. Ask the guide about some buildings and monuments. Say how high (beautiful, wonderful) they are. Ask when they were built. Thank the guide for the tour.
