Stative Verbs (дієслова стану)
Дієслова, які описують постійний стан, почуття чи емоції зазвичай не вживаються в тривалому часі. Наприклад: to love – кохати, to understand – розуміти.
He knows where Peter is. (not is knowing)
Деякі дієслова стану (see, feel, think, have та ін.) можуть вживатися в тривалому часі, але з іншим значенням.
