  • Hello, could you show me one of those T-shirts?

  • Here’s a nice one. What size?

  • That’s 50 cents of change.

Notes: Present Simple is used with the words: every day, usually, always, etc.

Past Simple is used with the words: yesterday, last week (month/year), two days (months/ years) ago, etc.

Future Simple is used with the words: tomorrow, next week, in 5 days, etc.

Future time is also expressed by “going to” for planned future events, etс.

Will is used:

a) to express a future decision or intention made at the moment of speaking.

1. It’s Jane’s birthday. 2. Goodbye. I’ll see you tomorrow.

‘Is it? I’ll buy her some flowers.’

3 ‘Which do you want? The blue or the red?’

‘I’ll take the red. Thank you.’

b) to express statements of a future fact: We’ll take exams in January.
