Introduction
Practical training’s aim is to consolidate, expand, deepen and systemize the knowledge gained in the study of general and specialized disciplines of economics, reflecting the specificity of industrial production based on a study of the enterprise sector. During the economic practices the student determines the scope of their future activities, and thus selects the appropriate specialization, provided the working high school curriculum, selects the necessary background information for term papers and research work.
The report consists of an introduction, two major divisions (Main characteristics and production potential of IITU, Study and Trial Practice for pensioners and in the library IITU).
In the study objectives set out in the course of practical training is also recommended to study literature.

History of iitu
International University of Information Technologies was established in April 2009 on behalf of the President of RK (Resolution № 881 of the Government of RK dated 24 September, 2008.) for promoting the industrial-innovative development of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan's first IT University is a Central-Asian leader in training highly skilled, internationally recognized IT experts for the region. The IITU provided the educational process with the most modern computer and licensed software. Since the initial training courses students have the opportunity to participate in the development of practical and laboratory work, to have the world experience the guru industry.
International University of Information Technologies was created in close cooperation with iCarnegie – an affiliate of the Carnegie Mellon University (USA), highly reputed world-wide for its top-quality educational programs. Carnegie Mellon University is a recognized global leader in such areas of education as algorithms, computer networks, distributed computing, programming languages, robotics, computational linguistics, software engineering. iCarnegie is an educational affiliate of Carnegie Mellon University and a provider of modern, world-class software systems development curriculum and professional certifications. High education and training institutions partner with iCarnegie to provide their students with Carnegie Mellon powered, top-level education in computer science and software engineering. To date, iCarnegie and its partners have delivered more than 150,000 course enrolments to students in more than 20 countries. iCarnegie has trained over 1000 instructors worldwide to teach its courses.
The main partner of the International IT University in education is a business school iCarnegie is a structural unit of the Carnegie Mellon University. In May 2009, the memorandum and a license agreement with the structural division of the world leader in the field of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA, the USA), and iCarnegie were signed. In accordance with these documents, students of the University are taught in English according to the state standard program and the American standard of specialized modules and at the end of training the graduates will be given the Kazakhstani state diplomas and the certificates of iCarnegie, recognized around the world.
In the framework of this cooperation the following is carried out:
• preparation of Kazakhstani educators; • provision of educational materials; • development of training programs; • examinations; • certification; • branding; • “Guru seminars” (short-term seminars and lectures by internationally recognized experts in the field of IT for promotion of the profession and the IT University); • advising on the promotion and accreditation.
International IT University and iCarnegie entered into an agreement that iCarnegie advises and develops curriculum for the students and the specialists of the University. The staff of highly qualified teachers of Kazakhstan was formed, who covered training and certification program of Carnegie Mellon. According to the agreements which were concluded during the repeated visits of the President of iCarnegie Mr Gil Taran and were reflected in the Memorandum, - “iCarnegie undertakes to take every year in summer, the best teachers of the University to improve training of Kazakhstani teachers, to familiarize them with the best practicing in the sphere of teaching and research”. The Kazakh side defrays expenses for accommodation of Kazakhstani teachers in America. The costs for training of teachers are carried out by the American side. Also according to the 12th Memorandum, the University with iCarnegie is developing a plan of student exchange with all the international centres and universities, collaborating with iCarnegie, which gives certain opportunities. iCarnegie has already established educational network in 15 countries, where the modules of Carnegie Mellon University are taught, including over 20 academies. A solemn ceremony of iCarnegie Certificate awards to 296 second-year students of our university was held on the 2nd of June, 2011, in the presence of American management and representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was also attended by representative of the U.S. Consulate in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr William Middletown. From 8th to 16th of July, 2011, in the passage of summer practice, our general partner also suggested holding a student practice - a program iCarnegie Global Scholarship, organized and prepared specifically to familiarize our students with the U.S. education system at the University of Carnegie Mellon. The 2nd year students, who were on the summer practice, have received certificates of our general partner that verify their stay at the University from 8th to 16th of July, 2011. In addition to our 9 students, 2 students from Nazarbayev University (Astana, Kazakhstan) and a student of Manav Rachna International University (Faridabad, India) participated in the program. The conditions for participation in the summer practices were: the level of GPA - not lower than 3.5; a free-form statement submitted to the International Department; the level of English - not lower than the Upper-Intermediate and characterization of 1-2 people who are familiar with the research and public activities of an applicant. International IT University is provided with grants from the RK government and the major national IT companies that cover the costs of student training under Kazakhstani and American educational programs. The University partners are leading IT Universities in Malaysia - University Kuala Lumpur, Limkokwing University, University Tenaga Nasional, and other universities around the world. The University is distinguished by its state-of-the-art technical equipment: the most modern computers and licensed software. The International IT University forms a new generation of professionals with specialized knowledge not only in technology but also in advanced management, economics, communication, with extended knowledge of English. Standing high on the IITU agenda is the development of outstanding personal qualities, leadership skills and creative abilities of students. The International IT University has a highly qualified teaching staff fostering free scientific inquiry, fully realizing their intellectual potential in the field of information technologies. The International IT University is proud of its successful partnership with the iCarnegie Business School, structural unit of the Carnegie Mellon University. As a result of a successful two-year partnership the first generation of our students have been awarded iCarnegie certificates which, being recognized world-wide, reflect our students’ achievements and raise their competitiveness on the labour market.
In 2011 the International IT University opened the Research Laboratory for conducting research in the areas of open-source cloud computing and open systems. The Student Government started operating from the first year of IITU existence. This group of IITU student leaders, actively engaged in solving numerous academic and social issues, serves as a bridge between the University students and administration. Students of the IT University are supposed to build up the intellectual elite of Kazakhstan.
In 2011, the International Information Technologies University admitted more than 500 students, 58 of whom are Altyn Belgi sign holders, and 60 - the winners of the International and National competitions. Each student of the IT University is a unique personality. Every year our students take part in the most prestigious student competition in ACM Programming. This year our team participated in the ACM for the third time, rating among the top 10 of its participants. Twelve IIITU student projects were presented in Astana at the recent Innovation Forum "Innovative Kazakhstan - a look into the future after 20 years of independence". IITU holds annually distance IT Olympiads in mathematics, computer science and sports programming among secondary school students. This format allows of expanding the IITU outreach across Kazakhstan. The Olympiad winners are awarded scholarships to study at the International IT University. The IT University pays special attention to sports. Our teams participate and win prizes in various in basketball, football, table tennis, and chess urban competitions. The International IT University seeks to support talented young programmers. For this reason, the IT University has initiated the local Hack Day innovative ideas festival, which is held annually around the world. As an effective platform for talents’ search and identification, Hack Day established itself from the first year of its appearance as the event in which the participants generate ideas and implement them as team projects in a matter of days. The International Information Technologies University positions itself as a socially responsible University of Kazakhstan through launching a computer-literacy project for senior citizens. More than 40 retirees have successfully completed the first training course and received certificates. Initially the project participants’ range was limited to the Bostandyk district residents, but in the future such courses will cover the entire city of Almaty.
