What do we mean by collective thought?
It’s more or less what comes out of the synthesis of minds and individual thoughts – not an eclectic sum but the synthesis. Individual minds set for a common good, to create from the differences, to perceive differences as something that enriches the common idea.
It implies:
- Feeling part of the whole
- Letting others dig into you
- Not feeling that others are the opponent but a part of the whole in equal condition
- Respecting the opinions from others not because of discipline but because you wish to
- Having a positive attitude to be able to see what unites us and not what brings us apart
- Being in favour instead of against
- Believing beforehand that others will enrich me
- Not reacting immediately but allowing that what others have to say digs in me.
