T: Now let’s look through the textbook. Do you like it? Are there many pictures? Can we write in the textbook? Of course, no. Should you keep your textbook neat? Certainly, yes.
2.Повторення та активізація ЛО теми.
1)Бесіда за підручником.
T: And now let’s get to know the characters of the textbook. Open your textbooks at page four (жестами показує, що треба зробити). There is a picture at the top. Who can we see there? We can see Miss Alison; she is a teacher. What is she telling us? Listen!
Учитель читає слова міс Елісон.

T: Let’s greet Miss Elison (repeat after me): Good morning! Nice to meet you!
Діти хором повторюють.
2)Впр. 1 (с. 4).
T: Look at the pictures of exercise 1 on page four. Who can wee see? We can see children and a teacher. Where are they? They are at school; they greet each other: «Good morning, Ann!», «Good morning, Dan!» and they greet their teacher: «Good morning, Miss Alison!», «Good morning, children!».
Діти хором повторюють привітання, які чують. T: А тепер розіграємо ці діалоги в парах.

2)Вивчення вірша. Впр. 3 (с. 5).
T: So, what do we say in the morning? Ps: Good morning!
T: And in the afternoon, or at noon — удень — we say «Good afternoon!». Ps: Good afternoon!
T: Look at the rhyme on page 5. Listen and repeat.
Учні повторюють слова віршика за вчителем; потім учитель починає розповідати, а учні продовжують.

T: Look at the bottom picture on page 5. Who can we see? Are they saying «Hello» or «Good morning» to each other? No, they are saying «Goodbye».
Repeat after me: «Goodbye!», «Bye!», «See you tomorrow!».
Учні хором повторюють форми прощання.
4)Рольова гра.
Учні в парах інсценують ситуацію прощання і кажуть один одному: «Goodbye!», «Bye!», «See you tomorrow!».
5)Впр. 5 (с. 5).
Учні в парах спілкуються відповідно до завдання вправи.
6)РЗ, впр. 1 (с. 1).
Учні в парах поєднують частини малюнків і розігрують діалоги.

your name, age and the city or country you live in. You’ll also learn how to greet people |

in the evening and learn a rhyme about that. |
Pronunciation 3. Фонетична зарядка.
T: Listen to the story about Mr Tongue. Today Mr Tongue invites us for a walk in the wood. So we are in the wood (можна увімкнути запис шумів лісу). The leaves rustle underfoot: [6-6-6]. Can you hear that sound: [d-d-d], [t-t-t]? Who can make it? May it be a woodpecker? And what is that [p-p-p], [f-f-f]? Whose sound is that? Is it a hedgehog? There are a lot of mosquitoes in the wood. They always sound like: [z-z-z]! Scare them, children, clap your hands. It scares them, so they must fly away. And now we are at a nice clearing. And now we say: [wa\]!
Warming up 4. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.
1)Повторення пісні «Good Morning, Miss Smith» та вірша (впр. 3 (с. 5)).
Учні хором співають пісню, потім по черзі розповідають вірш.
2)Гра з м’ячем.
Учні стоять у колі й кидають один одному надувний м’яч зі словами привітання і про-
щання: «Hello!», «Hi!», «Good morning!», «Good afternoon!», «Goodbye!», «Bye!»
Учень, що спіймав м’яч, повинен відповісти відповідно: на слова «Hello!», «Hi!» — привітатися, на привітання «Good morning!» — відповісти «Good morning!», на сло-
ва «Good afternoon!» — відповісти «Good afternoon!», а на слова прощання — «Goodbye!», «Bye!», «See you tomorrow!».

1. Перевірка домашнього завдання.
1) РЗ, впр. 2 (с. 2).
Учні повідомляють, які слова на позначення привітання вони знайшли й обвели.
2) РЗ, впр. 3 (с. 2).
Учні по черзі називають букви, які вони розфарбували. Потім вимовляють по бук-
вах слова «Hello», «Goodbye» i «Hi».

2. Подання та активізація нових ЛО.
1) Бесіда за підручником. Впр. 1 (с. 6).
T: Open your books at page 6. Who can we see? We can see a boy and a girl. The girl’s name is Ann and the boy’s name is Dan. Ann is seven years old and Dan is seven too. T (звертається до учнів): And how old are you?
Ps (по черзі відповідають): I’m seven/eight.
T: And do you know what country Ann and Dan are from? They are from Ukraine. They live in Kyiv. Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. (Звертається до учнів.) Where are you from?
Ps (по черзі відповідають): I’m from Ukraine. I live in Kharkiv/Lviv, etc. T: Now listen to what Ann and Dan say, and repeat after me.
Учитель читає текст вправи; учні слідкують за підручником і повторюють кожне речення. Особливу увагу вчитель звертає на нове речення в рамці: «We are in the second form».

Учні працюють у групах по троє-четверо: по черзі розповідають про себе, ставлять один одному запитання. Наприклад:
P1: Hi, my name’s Kate. P2: How old are you, Kate? P1: I’m seven.
P3: Are you a pupil?
P1: Yes, I am in the second form…
3.Фізкультхвилинка.
Учитель вимовляє команди, супроводжуючи їх рухами. Учні повторюють рухи. Потім учитель вимовляє команди, а учні самостійно виконують відповідні рухи.
Т: Hands up! Hands down! Hands on hips! Sit down! Hands up! To the sides! Bend left! Bend right! One, two, three! Hop! One, two, three! Stop!
4.Вивчення вірша. Впр. 3 (с. 7).
1) Бесіда з учнями.
T: So in the morning we say...

T: And in the evening we say «Good evening». Repeat! Ps: Good evening!
T: And when we go to bed we say «Good night». Repeat! Ps: Good night!

Учні в парах складають міні-діалоги відповідно до ситуацій, зображених на малюнках.

Учитель читає текст вірша і пояснює незнайомі слова. Учні повторюють його за вчителем; потім учитель починає розповідати, а учні продовжують.
