RULES OF PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION ON INTERNATIONAL RUOTES. Tickets may be purchased in advance both one way and round trip. Return tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The free baggage allowance is 30 kg on First Class and 20 kg on Economy Class booking. Passengers must pay for the excess weight.The fare for infants under 2 years of age and not occupying individual seats is 10 per cent of the adult fare.Each infant must be accompanied by an adult. If an infant under 2 years is provided a seat, the fare is 50 per cent of adult fare. Children from 2 to 12 years of age are allowed half-fare with a separate seat for each and there is free baggage allowance for them.. There is no free baggage allowance for children travelling at 10 per cent fare. No article may be taken on board that is customs - prohibited.Passengers must have passports, visas, health certificates and other papers required by law or regulations.Check-in operations begin 2 hours prior to departure, they must be completed 40 minutes prior to departure.No confirmation of reservations is required for a single passenger or a group of travellers not more than 4 persons. No confirmation is necessary if the stay en route lasts less than 72 hours.If a passenger is improperly documented, they may refuse to carry him, cancel the reserved seat or deplane him.

FLIGHT CREW AND GROUND STAFF PERSONNEL. Ground staff personnel and their duties. Ground staff are all people who work on the ground. 1. Ticket agent sells tickets, checks documents.2. Reservation agent makes reservations (mostly on phone). 3. Shift manager is the chief of the ground staff on each shift (days, evening, nights) 4. Station manager is the chief of all ground staff personnel on all shifts.5. Security officer inspects passengers and baggage for dangerous goods and security violations.6. Customs officer inspects passenger and baggage for customs controlled items (money, antiques, cigars, plants etc.), checks customs declarations, sends passengers to other control points. 7. Passport Control officer checks passports, visas for validity.8. Health Control officer checks immunization certificates for correct vaccinations and validity.9. Plant Quarantine officer inspects all plants, seeds, cuttings etc coming into the country, checks special licenses for legal carriage of plants.10. Veterinary Officer inspects all live animals entering a country and their medical certificates. 11 .Check-in agent takes tickets, weighs and labels baggage, gives boarding passes, may check documents, fills in passenger manifest.12. Dispatcher is responsible for giving passenger and cargo information to co-pilot, prepares flight documents.13. Controller works in АТС tower, responsible for the movement of planes on ground and in air.Marshaller is responsible for helping pilots to park a plane with the flights.15. Baggage handler is responsible for loading and unloading baggage.16. Cargo agent is responsible for accepting cargo for shipment. 17. Cargo attendant is responsible for loading and unloading cargo.

Flight crew members and their duties. Flight crew are all people who work on the plane. The number of crew members depends on the type of aircraft. They are captain, co-pilot, navigator, flight engineer, some times radio-operator and CAS (cabin attendants).Captain (the pilot-in-command) is responsible for the safety of the aircraft, passengers and crew. Co-pilot has to watch the preflight preparations, check the flight documents and pilot the aircraft.Navigator makes the route chart, watches the instruments during the flight, he also maintains the radio communication. He determines the course, the wind speed and the wind direction, the position of the aircraft.Flight engineer inspects the aircraft before the flight and watches the engine instruments during the flight.Flight attendants (CAS) work in aircraft cabin with passengers. Their main duty is to take care of the passengers. They are responsible for the safety of passengers.Senior steward (Purser) is the chief of the cabin crew.
