Как часто можно встретить выпускника бизнес-школы, абсолютно довольного результатами обучения? Еще реже удовлетворение по поводу знаний и навыков своих сотрудников с дипломами MBA высказывают работодатели. Однако не следует считать, что у нас учат чему-то не тому. Просто при выборе школы нужно применять правильные критерии.
Из всех возможных критериев российские абитуриенты обычно пользуются ограниченным кругом. Например, для многих наиболее значимым фактором являются рекомендации знакомых: по статистике от 40 до 70% всех поступивших осуществляют свой выбор именно таким образом. Значительная часть будущих слушателей ориентируется на знакомый бренд, предпочитая вуз, где получено первое образование. Географическое расположение учебного заведения (близость к дому или месту работы) также влияет на окончательное решение. Кроме того, определенная часть абитуриентов ищет преимущественно программу (например, MBA в области финансов), а не учебное заведение.
Неплохо «работает» и такой фактор, как стоимость программы. На финальной стадии размышлений многие отказываются от дорогих вариантов в пользу более дешевых. Некоторые наоборот, признают только те школы, которые выставляют высокий «ценник». Тем не менее, именно успехи IMD оказали наибольшее впечатление на российское деловое сообщество.
Таков стандартный подход к выбору российской бизнес-школы. Однако он небезупречен, поскольку ни один из перечисленных факторов не дает представления о том, что же человек получит «на выходе». Слушатели приходят с различными ожиданиями: кому-то нужны практические инструменты управления, а кому-то – хорошее знание основ менеджмента. Существующие программы подразумевают относительный баланс теории и практики, а это нравится далеко не всем.
Изменить ситуацию можно двумя способами – «нагружать» программы различными приложениями в виде дополнительных занятий или привести организационную структуру школы к одной из двух признанных в мировой практике моделей. Собственно, их всего две. Первая, «университетская», предполагает, что бизнес-школа является частью материнского учебного заведения (факультет, институт, подразделение), располагается на его территории и активно использует его ресурсы, например профессуру. Вторая представляет собой независимый проект в формате В2В. «Когда бизнес-школа располагается в стенах университета, ее задачи определяются задачами головного учебного заведения. Но если вся линейка программ предназначена только для бизнеса, такую школу можно назвать учреждением «одной миссии».
«Университетская» группа школ более многочисленна и известна: Гарвард, Стенфорд, Вартон – словом, весь «верх» мировых рейтингов, где расположены преимущественно американские учебные заведения.
В «чистом виде» В2В-модель обучения впервые была реализована в швейцарском International Institute of Management Development (IMD). Здесь бизнес стал диктовать правила и непосредственно участвовать в формировании учебных планов. К «независимым» можно отнести INSEAD и ряд других менее именитых европейских школ. Французские независимые бизнес-школы называются Grandes Ecoles.
Было бы несправедливо говорить, что одна модель в чем-то превосходит другую. И «университетские», и B2B-школы имеют как преимущества, так и недостатки.
Нельзя, впрочем, утверждать. Что принципы обучения в школах с различной организационной структурой существенно разнятся. Разница – в подходах. Только совокупность деталей позволяет говорить о принадлежности школы к определенной модели.
Абитуриенты приходят в бизнес-школы с разными целями. Для одних существенно систематизировать имеющиеся знания или получить базовые компетенции в конкретной сфере (если у них непрофильное первое высшее образование). Другие ищут профессиональную среду, контакты и уникальные технологии управления. Выбирая определенную модель обучения, и те и другие могут с большей определенностью планировать будущее после получения диплома.
