Структура отрицательного предложения

Подлежащее		Глагол to be		Частица not		Именная часть сказуемого или обстоятельство места
It		is		not		warm.
I		am		not		happy.

Обратите внимание: в отрицательных предложениях частица not ставится после глагола to be.

Hi, I am Bill Peterson.

I’m on holiday in Spain, but I am not happy.

It is not summer, it’s winter.

The weather is not good, it’s bad.

It is not warm, it’s very cold.

The water and the sky are not blue, they’re dark and grey.
