Chapter 1. Introduction

    1. The name of our project is “Fresh hand”. We – 6 students and organizers of the project – were trying to put in this name symbolic meaning. Idiomatic meaning is a right hand, a helping hand. Except that fact, “fresh hand” is probably something new, something, related to modernization. Fresh hand – we will work for your work.

    1. Thousands young people in Russia cannot find interesting job because of absence of specialized recruiting web-sites for youth. Our new recruiting project “Fresh hand” was created for the elimination of this problem. Web-site of the “Fresh hand” has 5 sections – work with no experience, internships, start-up, volunteering and work abroad. The main idea is to create resource for young generation, where they can find information about new work places in St.Petersburg and Moscow. In addition, “Fresh hand” offers extra data about office, collective and history of the company. Our aim is to be independent source. So we try to find more details for users, for example, editors write columns by their own and take pictures of office. That way we are sure that “Fresh hand” gives reliable information. The outcome is trusting employers, necessary employees and authoritative HR source.

    1. “Fresh hand” is referred to such fields as media projects and intercultural social projects. The first one because of journalism contribution to search for a vacancy, job. Journalists are not just advert a new interesting workplace, they try to be objective, they come to the company, which offers a job, they meet with collective of the company, they learn a history of the company. So “Fresh hand” is not a web-site, which offers new vacancies, “Fresh hand” tries to employ well-educated young people to successful companies. The second field – intercultural social projects – is related to “Fresh hand” because we find jobs, internships and volunteering workplaces in Russia and in other countries. We completely understand that new generation of russian specialists prefer to work abroad, to share experience with other countries.

Chapter 2. Main Body

2.1. Objectives of the “FH”, which will be resolved:

  • Specialized search of jobs for young people: more interesting, ambitious and successful vacancies in different companies; internships in selected and closed organizations; work abroad – real and feasible workplaces (interview with our friends, who tries to live and work abroad).

  • Quick and easy web-site for users

  • Less expensive ad places of vacancies for employers

2.2. You will ask do we need such project for us? Are there problems in society? Let’s see in scheme.

  • Haven’t got source for young generation

  • Haven’t got independent HR agency

  • Haven’t got everything in one: work abroad, internships work with no experience, start-up, volunteering

  • Haven’t got cheap resource for employers

Main aim:

What is the aim of this?

  • Give a platform for youth from 15 to 30

  • Give objective and clear information

  • Give 5 different ways of work or spheres of realization, advices in blogs and less expensive place for advert

  • Give huge base for employers in search of new talents and geniuses

Causes:

  1. specialized web-site for youth

  2. offer a vacancy

  3. less expensive recourse for employers

Objectives:

1. arrange young people to interesting, ambitious, selected posts

2. explore not just wage, place of work and conditions, we know all about company, colleagues and environment. So our user is more informed. Forewarned is forearmed.

3. to work with youth means to offer for companies less experienced people, so advert on site cannot costs a lot

Effects:

What do we have now:

There is two force from two sides

  • no way for youth to try their energy in big or even small but interesting workplaces

  • no way for employers to find talented guys

What we are trying to offer:

  • dialog of these two sides

  • that’s why we make a PR of “Fresh hand” in youth, so they will open our web-site

  • that’s why we are not offer big prices for vacancy and advert places for employers

  • Background of the problem: where you will find an interesting, creative, modern job? In a newspaper? Or will you ask your friend’s advice? University gave you a middling probation, but you want to test your knowledge in another company, bigger and better recourse? Many young people in Russia were trying to answer these questions. But still they haven’t got a web-site, which helps to solve a labor problem in current time.

  • The problem today: what can do young people today to find job? Write a post in Twitter or Facebook, ask to distribute it. Or sign up in such web-sites as job.ru, headhunter.ru and search for days interesting workplace, for example, in start-up project. We offer 5 sections for users: star-up projects, work with no experience, volunteering, internships places and work abroad. So user can easily chose sphere of his interest and start to find a job.

  • In my opinion, present web-sites for jobs don’t matter about young, well-educated, progressive generation. Current resources in the Internet offer boring, sometimes not self-specialized vacancies. They don’t even know about new technique of the cooperation: in start-up projects, in partnerships projects, in co-working centers. And this why young people can’t solve a problem of a job search.

  • How to solve this problem? – To offer employees new recruiting project, which gives specialized information of jobs for youth. “FH” is source for young, creative people, so we can find this new technique of the cooperation in current time. For example, Alex is good at marketing. He knows popular social web-sites, specialized groups and communities in them, so he can easily advertise new start-up project for youth, such as “Fresh hand”. And if “FH” is looking for marketing, we (as a web-site) will connect organization with employee.

  • Economic well-being in Russia is growing up. We escaped from soviet effects in economy. Russia is modern market system for employers and employees. More and more start-up projects are organized, more and more vacancies are appeared every day, so new generation is required in new system for searching interesting job.

  1. The young age of organizers. We have not got experience. It is complicate for us to solve legal questions, questions about taxes.

  2. Too many ideas for PR actions, for design of the web-site BUT small financial possibilities.

  2. An older generation prefers current web-sites with search for work. “Fresh hand” may stop on age gap from 15 to 21, but we planned to be resource to people from 15 to 30.

We have been working for a month and we understood that we have several partners, which have different causes to cooperate with us.

  • Primary stakeholders.

Our main group is small, so called “underground” places for youth, which did not have money to buy a place on popular HR agency (hh.ru), besides HH haven’t got such base of young auditory. There are «Зингер», «Спасибо», «Надо же», «Счастье», «Настроение». That is shops and cafes.

  • Secondary stakeholders

We also tried to work with big international company – “Stockmann”. That’s amazing experience, because they have many different workplaces in different spheres (manager, IT technologies, PR and of course shop assistant). Such big companies we prefer to section “Work abroad”.

  • Other stakeholders

Some companies don’t need advertising in vacancies, but like to have their ad banners on FH, because our users are young and they are potential new clients. English and French center prefer to advertise courses of language on FH. Hostels make their own banner with advert and vacancies in one.

Cafes and restaurants are interested in advertising their own workplaces. Sometimes they just need some workers for summertime, while others members of their company are going to the rest. Sometimes they are ready to grow their own working personnel. “Fresh hand” is open for these partners.

Of course, we plan to communicate with start-up projects, which also need a programmer or web-designer sometimes. So we easily put their advert with vacancy on our site.

Concerts and big summer fests need volunteers. We have Наше радио – fest or “Maxidrom” – fest every summer. Organizers will be pleased to announce about set of volunteers for these events. You see that London collect 10 000 of volunteers on 30th Olympic games. “Fresh hand” assures that Sochi-2014 will probably in need of more volunteers. So we are ready to help the government.

    1. Conclusion

Fresh hand” offers:

  • Objective opinion about job

  • Modern and interesting ways of cooperation between employer and employee or between different companies and projects

  • Activities such as volunteering and traineeships

  • Personal columns from authors about changes in Labor Code of RF

  • Interview with people, who tried to live and work abroad

    1. Fresh hand” is successful project because people work in any situation, doesn’t matter are they rich or poor. “Fresh hand” offer specialized set of jobs for users. They respect resource, which gives them objective and full information about the future workplace. The effect or our work can be tested in 3 months; we believe that users will divide FH. Web-site has huge share category with social networks – FB, VK, Google+ and others. The efficiency can be verified by your own: open web-site every week and if you see new vacancies, then employers give them, then it is dependence between FHemployersemployees.

All of members are searching information of new vacancies at the same time. Full information will be ready in 1 month. We are collecting information about place of work, wage, conditions and we of course make our own opinion about company, office, collective. Every section needs to be update every 3rd day.

Preparation of texts for authors columns

We are planning to update every 3rd day 3 columns.

  1. Yana Voytsekhovskaya about politics and economic news in Russia

  2. Nikita Mychin about self-experience

By the time of opening the resource we need to collect about 10-15 texts for each column to be sure that we can update them for the first time.

Advertising and PR

  1. We understand that financial part of project is too small, so we plan to make stickers or label brochures and distribute them in popular places for youth – bars, cafes, metro stations, bus stations, art centers and etc.

  2. We also need a visual range, so we will make a T-shirts with logotype. We are young people and we go to popular places, so everyone can see our self-advertising.

  1. Stickers will be ready in 2 weeks.

  2. T-shirts in 1 week.

Registration of legal entity

It will take 1 month in Russia.

Extra ideas

  1. We will start without search system on web-site, but we are thinking of it. It will be very useful, when we will have a quite big amount of vacancies. Well done search system will answer to our aim – specialized, quick and easy search.

  2. We haven’t got yet a comment part for users; we need a feedback from users. But we still afraid of unsafely exploring. That’s will answer to another aim – objective and quality information. Users can easily correct authors of columns and give their opinion about companies.

  3. Not so long ago one member of our group suggested that we need to contact sponsors. If we have section “Start-up”, then we need to show sponsors offers, so young organizations can fight for finance support. That’s a great, new and very useful idea for young people just like as. We cannot imagine how it will look like – like a page of sponsor in FB or more official – but there is a room for development.
